At 9:00 a.m. on April 28, 2023, with the theme of “Technology promotes innovation, Advance toward a more prosperous Asia-Pacific region”, the launching ceremony of “Innovating for Public Urban Technology Transformation Competition（INPUT2）” (hereinafter referred to as “INPUT2”) was successfully held at the Fuzhou Strait International Conference & Exhibition Center. Representatives from the main executive agencies, support and guidance, industry experts and media attended the ceremony.

INPUT2 is a project submitted by Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology to APEC, with China as the main proposing economy and Russia, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, and Hong Kong, China, as co-proposing economies to participate.It is an international event approved for implementation by Policy Partnership on Science, Technology and Innovation(APEC-PPSTI).

The launching ceremony of this year’s competition was held in Fuzhou City in conjunction with the 6th Digital China Summit, which was strongly supported by the Digital Summit Organizing Committee. Fuzhou is a representative city of China’s digital economy in recent years, and as a representative city of China, Fuzhou will send excellent competition entries to participate in this year’s INPUT2 competition to showcase the development achievements of digital Fuzhou.
